Nice small place, maybe only a little dark for my personal taste (but to someone it may feel more intimate?!). Just stopped for a quick lunch right before closing hours, the staff was nice enough to let us eat nonetheless. Excellent variety in the menu, and prices seemed overall on the cheap side. The best sushi I have ever had in this area.

Happy Hour is insane! We ordered 3 cut rolls, 4 appetizers (portions are not small), 2 beers, 2 hot sake and our bill was only $45! Monday Happy Hour is all day, but they close between lunch and dinner hours so call ahead to plan accordingly.

Easy reservation process. Great service. Food was outstanding!I got the warm wasabi house noodles with steak. Definitely recommended. It wasn't too spicy and the steak was cooked perfectly. They also gave us a small app plate to start which we really appreciated because we were so hungry at that point.Thank you for a great experience for our first time in Redondo Beach!

Love this place! I've been going there on a nearly weekly basis for over a year now. The food is great for sushi fanatics and people who don't eat sushi alike, with a very well put together, high quality menu. Service is extraordinary, to say the least! Very attentive waiters, awesome sushi chefs, and of course nothing but high quality food coming from the kitchen. Decor is clean, upscale and beautiful. Prices are great! I obviously highly recommend this place!!!!

Food is good, but service below average. Seems like the servers don't care if you're there or not. Go for lunch cause dinner is a overpriced

Very good Japanese restaurant with lots of items on a menu. Always very busy. Very fast made sushi especially if you sited by the counter.

Lovely place for weekday lunches! They offer filling lunch specials that are a great value, and the fish tastes pretty fresh.

Outstanding restaurant with high quality food at a very reasonable price. Very classy decor and the staff are truly focused on service. Nobu is our favorite waitress, she is very attentive and has a great personality.

This is always fresh sushi and a delicious experience! The service is attentive and polite, the atmosphere is cozy, and the food is always wonderful!Try the baby octopus! They're little fried bites of heaven!

Lunchtime bento was delicious and the perfect amount of food. Fish was fresh and delicious. Prep was average. I will definitely be coming back...maybe for dinner!

From former gas station to decent sushi place.Service is usually annoyed and impatient, but the fish is good.Yanagi is close to my house and reliably good, so I go there often enough.However, there are never any smiles, warmth or friendliness and that's a total buzz kill.Not quite 4 stars - food is good, service is meh.

Came here for dinner with my girl. I really liked the ambiance. Great food too and the service was great all around. Real accommodating little sushi spot with lots of extras. Really liked the blue fin tuna which a lot of places don't have but they have it here. Make reservations for busy dinner hours.

So yum!!! Everything is really fresh and Mondays are all night happy hour! Ask the sushi chef to do his version of a sake bomb , you wont regret it!

This spot is worth visiting. They serve big portions for reasonable prices. Regularly neat and with good ambience. Would recommend to others.

Great sushi and sashimi. Presentation is on point, service is efficient. Not to pricy, one of my favorite local sushi spots. As expected of any good sushi restaurants, the fish is fresh, the presentation is beautiful, the fish is served at the right temperature, and the rice compliments the fish. I honestly am not to fond of most sushi rolls, i prefer the beauty of the fish to shine, and this placer does it right. They do have the more popular heavily sauced rolls, and they do them great, but go for the simple stuff it's really great stuff.
